What is the difference between the Vektor and a Fingbox?

The Vektor does everything the Fingbox does and adds a lot more. We start with a much better hardware platform, add more security tools and some privacy tools Fing lacks, add a smart firewall that you do not need to configure, and throw in a VPN router that can tunnel devices independently of each other. The Vektor has true gigabit ethernet and WiFi that can also work in the 5GHz band, serving as an access point for a few specialized networks like one for guests or a vpn-only wireless network.

What is the difference between the Vektor and a CujoAI?

The Vektor does everything that Cujo does and adds a lot more. A better hardware platform lets the Vektor add more security tools including a vulnerability scanner and encrypted DNS. The Vektor is built to protect your privacy in addition to your security and has a built-in VPN router to help you protect your privacy from ISP snooping. The Vektor has true gigabit ethernet and adds a WiFi access point that broadcasts a few specialized networks like one for guests or a vpn-only wireless network.

How is the Vektor different than the Gryphon wifi router?

A Gryphon is going to be a replacement for your existing WiFi access point while the Vektor is designed to work in combination with your existing networking setup. While the Vektor has WiFi capabilities that are better than most similar security routers we have not gone all-in on WiFI in the same way as the Gryphon team. The Vektor brings more privacy protection, advanced VPN router capabilities, and a larger security suite (e.g. encrypted DNS, vulnerability scanning, etc.)
